The capsule has a threaded screw hidden at the bottom revealing a chamber that can hold a small amount of cremation ash, a lock of hair, sand or whatever you like. The best part is that no one knows that this necklace holds such a special treasure. The piece itself measures 1" (25mm) in diameter by 3/16" (5.5MM) wide and is solid stainless steel.
The chamber measures 5/8" (15mm) deep by 5/64" (2mm) wide.
Need to secure the screw permanently? A little loctite from your local hardware store can be applied to the area where you screw the capsule together and it will be permanently sealed!
